🏛️ LTL South Carolina State Capital Field Trip
Dates: Wednesday, April 15th – Thursday, April 16th
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Join us for an exciting, two-day exploration of South Carolina’s history, government, and science! Families are welcome to join us for a single day or stay overnight to enjoy the full itinerary. This trip offers a unique "behind-the-scenes" look at our state’s leadership and a private experience at the state’s premier museum.
Day 1: Wednesday, April 15th
10:45 AM | Governor’s Mansion Group Tour Explore the historic 1855 residence and the beautiful "Governor’s Green."
Cost: $1 per person
Capacity: Max 25 attendees
Please arrive on time; late arrivals may not be permitted to join the group.
* 1:15 PM | SC State House Group Tour See where our state laws are made and visit the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor.
Cost: $1 per person
Capacity: Max 40 attendees
Day 2: Thursday, April 16th
9:45 AM | SC State Museum Entry Enjoy four floors of art, history, and technology, including an observatory and a private planetarium showing just for our group!
Cost: $4 per Student | $6 per Adult
Capacity: Max 100 attendees
10:30 AM: Private Planetarium Show.
11:35 AM: Group Lunch in the Cafeteria. Please bring a packed lunch, as the Museum Cafe will be closed.
