At Verdier House, a beautiful historic home in downtown Beaufort, groups will explore eight unique rooms, learning about the house's past from experienced docents skilled in engaging young learners. Students will be grouped by age to ensure the best experience, with small group sizes for smoother tours. Parents/chaperones may join. This trip is suitable for ages 7+ 

Discover Beaufort's rich history at the Beaufort History Museum, located in downtown Beaufort's historic Arsenal (1798). Learn about 450 years of fascinating stories, from Santa Elena, the first major settlement in the U.S., to Revolutionary War battles, the Declaration of Independence, and the Civil War’s impact on the region. Kids can enjoy a fun scavenger hunt while exploring Beaufort’s pivotal role in shaping America’s history.
